Tabloid Newspapers. Whether you stitch & trim, nest sections, require inserts or mail, Bartash can handle all your needs. Four-color is no problem; whether you want four-color on one page or all the pages, we’re ready to provide it in the most efficient way. Flat out and folded are both available options.

Mini-Tab Booklets. Bartash offers a variety of book sizes and options. All five of our press lines have the ability to glue and trim on press. Our multiple saddle-stitch machines are available for books that require stapling. Depending on the length, we can glue and trim up to 80 full-color pages in one pass! We offer a variety of specialty products on our mini-tabs. Glued or unglued booklets as small as 8.25" x 3.5" are possible.

Slip-Sheets Two half-page inserts are created on press and are an extremely affordable way to create an insert for your publication.

Tabs, or “pop-outs,” are an attractive way for you to highlight a special section or specific advertiser.

Spadea (or Spadia). A spadea is a separately printed sheet that is folded around and stitched to a newspaper or other periodical, or around one of its sections, appearing as a partial page or flap over the front and back. Spadeas have been an advertising mechanism for publishers for centuries, particularly for magazines and comics.

Inserts. Bartash currently inserts over 10 million pieces per week. Anything from single-sheet flyers, menus, circulars and postcards can be inserted. Bartash can also provide the printing of your insert. 5" x 8.5" up to 11" x 17," coated and non-coated, 4/4 or 1/0 inserts are no problem. Whatever your wish, Bartash can provide. We can even insert down to specific zip codes!

Detach Cards (or Detached Address Label – DAL). For customers that saturate carrier routes, you may be eligible to utilize detached mailing cards in place of labeling the piece itself. Detached labeling cards are a tremendous revenue source. By selling the face of the card, you can suddenly turn what used to be a mail preparation expense into a profit center. Another application for these cards is stitching them as a wrap-around on your publication for advertising or subscription purposes. Bartash prints and mails hundreds of thousands of 4/1 detached labeling cards per week.

Coated Covers Spruce up your publication with a glossy coated cover. Whether your product is a tabloid or a mini-tab booklet, a coated cover is available. Our affordable pricing on covers has enabled many publications to upgrade and effectively reposition themselves against their competition.

Repositionable Stickers Bartash can apply custom-printed “stickies” to the outside of your publication that meet all US Postal regulations for bulk mailing. Read more about this versatile differentiator by clicking here. Be sure to ask your Bartash Account Executive about this revenue enhancer.
