Bartash Printing

History

Bartash Printing was founded in Southwest Philadelphia with a single press in a 10,000 square foot facility nearly 60 years ago by Joe Bartash to print his weekly newspaper – The Southwest Globe-Times. In 1962, Joe’s son-in-law, Sidney Simon  joined the company and eventually purchased the company. During the next 45+ years Sid and his son Michael, who joined the company on 1994, grew the company from that single-press operation, to its present size of 5 press lines in a 100,000 square foot facility.

Bartash is now the largest cold web printing firm in Philadelphia and one of the premier publication printers in North America with a loyal workforce of over 250 skilled associates, and clients all over the eastern United States.

And we’re still making publishing history every day by incorporating the latest technology in prepress, the pressroom, bindery and mail operations, to meet your increasing needs for speed, economy, and flexibility.

In 2008 we developed Bartash eDITIONs™ — our, animated searchable online versions of your publications with live web-links, that help You increase your revenue potential. In 2009 Publishing Executive Magazine ranked Bartash #14 in their list of “Top 20 Magazine Printers in North America”.

We embrace the need for perpetual improvement and we welcome suggestions from clients as to how we can better meet their needs through service, capabilities and the exploration of new media opportunities.
